Listening to the Community: Participatory Family Farming Radio Campaign

Participatory content development and involvement of the audience throughout the production cycle is one of the most significant highlights of a local broadcaster. This characteristic has been maintained during the production and dissemination of all radio programs produced to propel the Regional Awareness Radio Campaign under the aegis of the United Nations decade of Family Farming (UNDFF). A key moment in the participatory process is the impact assessment of the programs.

UNDFF Global Forum on Inclusive RCS for Family Farming

ComDev Asia, one of the regional communication development initiatives of FAO took part in the UN Decade of Family Farming (UNDFF) Global Forum on inclusive Rural Communication Services (RCS) last 11 July, 2022. The forum aims at sharing insights on trends, experiences and appropriation of media and Information and Communication Technologies for development (ICT4D), and to promote inclusive Rural Communication Services (RCS) for family farming as part of the UNDFF process.
