Digital Green, one of the steering committee members of ComDev Asia, presented a new product that aims to enhance the development of farmer-driven content, research outputs, and policy guidance at scale during the 4th Digital Agriculture Solutions Forum for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok. Farmer.CHAT is a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot that will allow agriculture extension workers to facilitate real-time communication between governments and farmers on the frontlines of climate change and water security issues. It serves as a virtual agronomist that will give farmers recommendation to their agricultural concerns based on the specific needs of their crops, location, and other contextual factors.
