SEARCA to hold seminar on the role of family farming in PH food systems
The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) is set to hold a seminar that will discuss the important role of family farming in the Philippine Food Systems. This event is open to the public and will be open to the public on 25 April 2023, Tuesday, 9AM (PH Time) at SEARCA Umali Auditorium. Farmers’ advocate and former Philippine Senator Francis Pangilinan will serve as speaker for this face-to-face event. SEARCA is a non-profit organization established by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) in 1966 to strengthen institutional capacities toward inclusive and sustainable agricultural and rural development (ISARD) in Southeast Asia through graduate education, research and development, and knowledge management.
