The Food and Agriculture Organization, soon to mark its 80th founding anniversary, have released a 30-second Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to promote the World Food Day celebration on 16 October 2025. With the theme, “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”, the celebration highlights the importance of collaboration and support from different stakeholders in shaping the global agrifood systems.

The Radio PSAs are available in six (6) UN languages where the English and French versions feature voiceovers by renowned actors Lambert Wilson and Charlotte Rampling. FAO is currently reaching out to radio stations all over the world to broadcast the PSA in the lead-up and on World Food Day. Radio stations are also encourage to translate the promotion material in their own language (scripts are available here). the FAO has also released a TV spot/promotional video with the same content.
