SEARCA, AFA, UNESCO, CIRAD, and GRET are organizing, with the technical assistance of the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, a virtual regional consultation bringing together representatives of universities, family farmer’s organizations, agricultural research institutions, government agencies, and development partners, to explore how Academia and Research Institutions (ARIs) in Asia can further contribute, in particular through Agroecology, to enhance the livelihoods of family farmers and developing their capacities to cope with increasing uncertainty caused by current shocks. This event will run from 8-9 December via Zoom. To register, check this link: https://bit.ly/ARIs4foodsystems
