Family Farmers receives little climate finance to support Sustainable Agriculture-study

Family farmers produce 80% of the food consumed in Asia and support the livelihoods of more than 2.5 billion people. The ingenuity and innovation of family farmers through pioneering diverse and nature-friendly practices enabled the sector to build climate resilience, restore and protect nature, increase food security, and reduce emissions. Unfortunately, family farmers still received a limited international public climate finance for agriculture. This 2024 report of Family Farmers for Climate Action provides insights on how the biggest climate and biodiversity funding organizations failed to support family farmers who are key to food security in a changing climate.
