Family farmers produce 80% of the food consumed in Asia and support the livelihoods of more than 2.5 billion people. The ingenuity and innovation of family farmers through pioneering diverse and nature-friendly practices enabled the sector to build climate resilience, restore and protect nature, increase food security, and reduce emissions. Unfortunately, family farmers still received a limited international public climate finance for agriculture.
