8th Global Conference on Family Farming: Sustainability of our Planet
The world faces colossal challenges that range from the climate crisis and the energy crisis to the urgent need to guarantee the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of our agri-food systems. Furthermore, we are facing levels of hunger and poverty that have not been seen in the last 20 years. Faced with this complex reality, the World Rural Forum (WRF) is preparing to hold the 8th installment of the Global Conference Family Farming: Sustainability of Our Planet.
It promises to be a momentous event that will address critical issues for the future of our planet. A call to action, a platform for collaboration and an opportunity for the most representative people in the field of family farming from around the world to address together the most pressing challenges of our time. The event is scheduled for March 19 to 21, 2024 and will take place at the Palacio Europa Conference Center, located in the historic city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the heart of the Basque Country, Spain, where it was born (and continues having its headquarters) the World Rural Forum 25 years ago.
