The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will hold a hybrid event on AgriFood Systems Transformation in Bangkok, Thailand, October 5-7. The symposium aims provide a platform for exchange of knowledge and foster learning across agrifood systems to accelerate the transformative process in the region. The COVID-19 pandemic and the 5F crisis (food, feed, fuel, fertilizer and finance) exposed the structural weakness and low resilience in the agrifood systems. FAO’s mission, institutionalized in its Strategic Framework (2022-31), is to support this transformation to MORE efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems for better production, better nutrition, better environment and better lives, leaving no one behind.
