UPRHS organizes Webinars to Engage the Youth in Agriculture

The University of the Philippines Rural High School (UPRHS) is organizing a series of webinars aimed to engage the youth, particularly junior and senior high school students in agriculture. The Online Youth Engagement in Agriculture program aims o provide a platform for advancement in agricultural engagement among students of public senior high schools. The latest installment is a webinar entitled, “Bt-ful Solution: Science, Safety and Potential Benefits of Bt Corn”, held last May 15. University of the Philippines (UP) Scientist and incumbent Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension of the University of the Philippines Los Baños, Dr. Merdelyn T. Caasi-Lit, served as guest speaker of the online event. It was the third  SEARCA-led sessions co-organized by UPRHS, East-West Seed Foundation, UPRHS Alumni Association Inc., and SEARCA.
