ComDev Asia to launch RCS Initiative and CoP in Asia-Pacific Region
ComDev Asia will be launching a new Rural Communication Services (RCS) Initiative and Community of Practice in the Asia-Pacific region. This virtual event will happen via Zoom on the 18 November, 2021 at 6:00PM (Manila Time). The launch is in support of the implementation of a regional Participatory Communication Plan (PCP) within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Family Farming (UNDFF).
This initiative aims to bring together farmer organizations, international development agencies, and academic institutions in using communication in agriculture and rural development to advance resilient family farming. Through knowledge exchange and building up a community of practice (CoP), this collaboration also envisions to drive the process of knowledge sharing about rural communication processes, tools, and activities among members of farmer organizations and other rural institutions engaged in family farming.
