SEARCA conducts training in Smart Agriculture among youth farmers in PH

The Philippine-hosted Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) organized an agri-innovation learning activities for Dagatan Family Farm School (DFFS) students this February 2023.  Fifty-four (54) student-learners, divided into 2 batches, enjoyed the experiential learning activities aimed to increase their knowledge on modern farming technologies and encourage them to pursue opportunities in agriculture in the future. Some of the activities include hands-on training on robotics, agri-innovation lecture, tour at the SEARCA Hub for Agriculture and Rural Innovation for the the Next Generation or SHARING, and the Agri Museum. SEARCA and DDFS also inked a Memorandum of Understanding for institutional cooperation. Read the full story here.
